Real World Examples of “How To” for ITSM

itSMF is proud to announce the resurrection of the Northern Alberta Branch (NAB), based out of Edmonton Alberta. This is the first official gathering in Northern Alberta in seven years. There will be two events held in the remainder of 2017, October and November. These events will be sponsored by the Southern Alberta Branch. Because of that these first two events will have a set fee, and in January 2018 the Northern Alberta Branch will be fully independent and options for membership will be available.

itSMF Canada is a forum for Information Technology professionals to explore methods of continually improving the support and delivery of IT Services. The forum allows members to exchange views, share experiences and participate in the continuous development of best practices and standards.

This session will provide a practical example of real world organizations who are leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence against their service desk data and processes. Adam will be sharing practical insights into what this is and could mean for your organization and then how to position your organization for this wave of capabilities.

What do you need to do now to position for this, how to deploy a practical pilot and then marketing this to your organization to drive innovative thought out of Information Technology for potential impact and inspiration across your business.

About The Speaker:



Adam has been in technology for 20+ years with some of the most prolific growth organizations from startup through several IPO’s and the development of over $100B of increased market valuation during his tenure at Dell, VMware, Data Domain and now ServiceNow. Adam first learned to spell ITIL in 1998 and has built strong knowledge marrying his business viewpoint to bring together the technology to articulate how it can make a difference to an organization’s key objectives.

Adam now is the Director for Western Canada for ServiceNow and has been with the company for 6+ years. With over 120 customers in his region, Adam has the opportunity to be involved in many projects and share insights into lessons learned and activities and alignment that correlate to program success.

The inaugural 2017 itSMF Northern Branch events will have a set event registration fee. Yearly memberships will be available in January 2018, and one of the membership benefits will include a reduced event rate.

itSMF NAB Event Cancellation Policy:
Full payment must be received from the Registrant four (4) business days prior to an itSMF NAB event or the Registrant will be removed from the enrollment list and will not be guaranteed a place at the event. Registrations cancelled more than four (4) business days before an itSMF NAB event will be eligible for a refund.
