Service Catalogs – Why YOU need one!

IT pricing, costing, and chargeback systems are fraught with political and practical issues. Most organizations face resistance to service pricing and chargeback when business users have always received services and products "for free." This workshop will provide hands-on examples of real world implementations that demonstrate how to implement and evolve your pricing and chargeback mechanism via an IT Service Catalog. This workshop will cover the following service pricing, costing, and chargeback best practices:

• Implement an actionable IT Service Catalog with configurable pricing

• Implement on-line orderable services, like Amazon.com

• Create service bundles, standardized offerings, and full componentized costs

• Integrate your IT Service Catalog with your existing fulfillment and financial systems quickly and easily

• Automate the Service / Product request process via advanced workflow to achieve Service Request Management, Demand Management, and IT Financial Management in less than 9 weeks

• Participate in hands-on exercises to develop an actionable, valuable IT Service Catalog with full financial management that you can begin to implement upon return to the office.

 

Keynote Speaker:
Andrew Kramer,
VP of Business Development, PMG Software
 
 

Andrew Kramer has more than 20 years experience in high-tech and IT management. Prior to founding two successful IT managed services and network management software companies, PerformanceIT and Total Systems Administration, he was a technical sales engineer with Scientific-Atlanta (Cisco) and Hitachi Telecom. He also worked as an operations manager at the Federal Reserve Bank and Bank of America. Mr. Kramer graduated with honors from Emory University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in finance and marketing and completed MBA coursework in International Finance at Georgia State University. He is currently the VP of Business Development at PMG Software in Atlanta.
