The Robots are Coming

By Ian Proctor & Negin Hemati

In this session, Ian and Negin will discuss the radical technology trends that are impacting a wide swath of the business landscape, including machine learning, cognitive automation, probabilistic inference and robotic processing. As these evolving technology capabilities take shape, the Enterprise Service Management environment will undergo a seismic shift. This shift will necessitate new perspectives and different approaches on how we, as Service Management professionals, drive value across the organization. Ian and Negin will foster a dialog about the direct and near term impacts of these technology advancements on the Service Management discipline.

About The Speaker:

 

 

Ian is a trusted technology advisor who helps clients with their most critical, complex and disruptive technology challenges. Combining his excitement for technology, his industry IT leadership roles and his extension Consulting experience, Ian has led successful Service Management transformation across industries and regions for the last 15 years. Ian’s passion for the future implications of technology have been influenced by the writings of Ray Kurzweil, Phillip K Dick, William Gibson and Sam Harris. Ian is a Director in Deloitte’s Technology Strategy & Architecture Practice and the Leader of Deloitte’s Global ServiceNow Center of Excellence.

 

Negin Hemati is an Analyst in Deloitte's Technology Strategy & Architecture practice, with experiences in Service Management and Information Management transformations. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is passionate about new and emerging applications of Robotic Process Automation, Machine Intelligence, and Cognitive AI.
