You are Invited to An itSMF Manitoba Breakfast Event On Friday, February 10, 2012   Sponsored by Presented by Jason Hopwood “Turning IT into an App Store”   Description of event:   As consumers, we flock to service providers that clearly communicate the value that they offer us – from online travel websites to app stores.  However, when it comes to providing technology based services to internal customers, why are businesses unable to articulate the value of the services they provide? Our presentation, Turning IT into an App Store, explores how an App Store’s “Service Catalog” (Music, Books, Games, etc…) directly relates to mapping Business Services (Finance, HR, etc…) to delivering value.  We also discuss how the intuitive nature of the App Store can help drive the successful adoption of a Service Catalog. Call for Speakers We are currently looking for individuals to speak at itSMF Manitoba events.  Don't miss this opportunity to share your knowledge and experience.  Presenters could be individuals, corporations or organizations that are experienced in topics such as IT, Management Consulting, Business Analysis, Service Management or Project Management. We would also like to welcome speakers that have implemented or are about to implement ITIL processes and procedures and would like to share their experiences. These could include: - Success stories  - Money saving actions  - Process implementation experiences We would also like your feedback on what you would like to see at future itSMF events.    Events do not necessarily have to be speaker events. They can be workshops, forums or simulator events.
